Obama dictates ultimatum to Netanyahu: "submit or be condemned"

Supreme Leader Barack Hussein Obama has ordered Benjamin Netanyahu to submit to a White House-dictated public pledge before leaving Washington to end all building in Jerusalem over the 1949 armistice lines, including in the major Jewish suburbs containing some 300,000 Jewish residents, or else face a US presidential condemnation of Israel and holding its government responsible for the failure to restart indirect Israel-Palestinian talks, Debkafile reports. And this is just one of "seven or eight points" of commitment, according to Channel One correspondendent Ayala Hasson in Washington, that Israel is expected to present to President Obama before leaving Washington.

Obama also warned to Netanyahu that the US president warned the Israeli prime minister that he intended to formulate in detail the settlement that the US government would demand for solving the Israeli-Palestinian dispute.

Facing Obama's threat, Netanyahu and defense minister Ehud Barak spent their last hours in the US capital ensconced in the Israeli Embassy trying to draft, with Dennis Ross, a statement that might possibly satisfy the Sultan.
