The Dawn of a New Epoch?

(PhysOrg.com) -- Geologists from the University of Leicester are among four scientists- including a Nobel prize-winner - who suggest that the Earth has entered a new age of geological time.

The Age of Aquarius? Not quite - It’s the Anthropocene Epoch, say the scientists writing in the journal Environmental Science & Technology. (web issue March 29; print issue April 1)

And they add that the dawning of this new epoch may include the sixth largest mass extinction in the Earth’s history.

Jan Zalasiewicz and Mark Williams from the University of Leicester Department of Geology; Will Steffen, Director of the Australian National University’s Climate Change Institute and Paul Crutzen the Nobel Prize-winning atmospheric chemist of Mainz University provide evidence for the scale of global change in their commentary in the American Chemical Society’s’ bi-weekly journal Environmental Science & Technology.

The scientists propose that, in just two centuries, humans have wrought such vast and unprecedented changes to our world that we actually might be ushering in a new geological time interval, and alter the planet for millions of years.

Zalasiewicz, Williams, Steffen and Crutzen contend that recent human activity, including stunning population growth, sprawling megacities and increased use of fossil fuels, have changed the planet to such an extent that we are entering what they call the Anthropocene (New Man) Epoch.

First proposed by Crutzen more than a decade ago, the term Anthropocene has provoked controversy. However, as more potential consequences of human activity — such as global climate change and sharp increases in plant and animal extinctions — have emerged, Crutzen’s term has gained support. Currently, the worldwide geological community is formally considering whether the Anthropocene should join the Jurassic, Cambrian and other more familiar units on the Geological Time Scale.

The scientists note that getting that formal designation will likely be contentious. But they conclude, “However these debates will unfold, the Anthropocene represents a new phase in the history of both humankind and of the Earth, when natural forces and human forces became intertwined, so that the fate of one determines the fate of the other. Geologically, this is a remarkable episode in the history of this planet.”

You could have shrugged off the "many of you are close..." thread like many of us did, but instead you took the seed and planted a big fat tree!

What you've collected and the conclusions that one can draw are logical and easily understood. For me it answers many questions, especially the list of earth anomalies that we've been experiencing on a more frequent basis.

To those of you who are concerned about being without power, let me give you a little hint: Permanent Magnet Alternator. Buy one or build one - or many. If you survive the shitstorm, you can be the only one in your neighborhood with lights on. Or you could swap your creations for all the food you'll need.

I'll give you summary:

Boeing worker hints that we will recieve an emp from the sun due to brown dwarf star passing by solar system and transfering to the sun a tunnel or filiment tube full of energy that will then cause severe solar storms that will pass to Earth a plasma tunnel of energy.

Also, we are passing through a secondary catastrophic event where the center of the galaxy sends out bursts or waves of energy. Hopefully, we will be protected from it, but it could and very likely will shrink down the sun's heliosphere and allow radiation and great energy to hit the Earth and cause a massive emp that will wipe out our electrical grid.

The Boeing worker doesn't think the Earth will be hit by incoming comets and asteroids but said the sun will be, as it has already been shown to have happened, with NASA hinting a brown dwarf could be the cause.

So, how's that for doom?

On the bright side, a woman talking to an entity of some kind, in the eighties and nineties has basically said the same thing, about fifteen years ahead of the mainstream media announcements.

Some people are hinting that we will be changed by the radiation that is coming to us into beings on a higher plane of existence with special powers.

Yeah, like we would be trusted with those powers. Look how well we use the ones we have now.

The last part about what will happen to us spiritually, is optional, most of the article was factual and supported by scientists, but only when put all together, as the Boeing worker insisted.

What can we do about it all?

Oh thanks you for showing me the essence of generosity in summing up the doom.

By now it should be crystal clear that *something* is happening, no one can say with 100% accuracy what will happen, simply too many variables and a very complicated subject matter of plasma physics. Anyone who claims they know are lying. Like the poster above many will be trying to fit this information and observations to their beliefs yet no ones beliefs can explain what is happening and will happen. When reality conflicts with beliefs people will more often than not choose the belief over reality such is the insanity and irrationality of people.

I wonder if the same thing happened to Mars with all the electrical like scarring, lack of a magnetosphere and atmosphere...

I can't say we don't deserve it, given all the violence, greed over materialistic goods and paper/plastic which in reality is worthless but to so any is worth more than life. The insanity of people who just don't care about anything or anyone, the irrationality of turning your back on the universe in favour of beliefs and people's lack of intelligence, reason and thinking. Instead of trying to understand the universe and yourselves you choose to believe lies and fantasies.

We all die eventually, it is irrational and stupid to fear death. We've trashed this planet, we build cities and grown outwards like cancers devouring everything in our way, frankly it's about time the place got cleaned up.

I believe that woman channeled a demon, and it is telling her the truth, and at the same time, a lie.

The truth is that we will not only be bombarded by solar radiation, and that we are protected from the galactic wave, but we will also be bombarded by cosmic debris.

The lie is that we can't do anything about it. Well, technically we can't, but God can.

I know many of you do not believe in the biblical God because the bible is not perfect. It doesn't have to be perfect, that is a lie taught to many people, probably from demonic entities, but I figure humans can come up with such things quite easily.

Revelation paints a slightly different picture.

There will be major earthquakes felt around the world at the same time. Then a caldera blows, maybe yellowstone, maybe toba. Maybe, and probably, both.

Whether the rocks shot into space from the explosions of the calderas is the hail stones in question, or not, there will be a time period of space rocks falling.

Along with a comet that will break up into two main pieces and hit Earth. The comet will have something to do with the name Lion.

One of the comet's hits below Ethiopia, and poisons the waters there. The other comet comes into Ethiopia.

During this time, the real Ark of the Covenant will be taken from Ethiopia to Israel.

Awesome SS. Just awesome. One small part of all of this caught my eye and would love for you to elaborate on it. This was the quote:

From what I was able to gather, it concerns paleontologists and geologists and ice core studies, etc. We are learning that all this truly is a cycle. By understanding the sun better, and viewing the strata of the earth, they can piece together when these events took place in the past, and then forecast when they will be do to come in the future. The only way to accomplish this is if everything runs cyclically.

Get a bike get a garden get some hunting/fishing skills. Think 1800's. Then think about how food will not be plentiful about 3 months into it. Think about people who are or are going to starve. Think social break down. Think life gets harder. Think what skills do I have to survive a world where anything electrical is useless and no longer functions. Thinking yet?
