People spend $10,000 or more each year on all kinds of insurances and think nothing about the paper promises in their wallets. Promises that wither away with every passing year. Tangibles, not just PMs.

Also I don't measure my wealth in dollars or any other form of money. My wealth doesn't need protecting as it is truly mine. If you want to "protect" your false notion of wealth go ahead and buy all the shiny metal you want. In the end you will find out who really owns your so called wealth.
