Slow down just a bit OP. Lets support the States lawsuits to get it declared unconstitutional and elect actual representatives in November to get it repealed before we start letting the lead leave the barrels shall we?

I'm plenty pissed about it too, but there is every reason to believe parts of the bill will be found to be unconstitutional. There is a very good chance that 2/3rds of the States will be successfull in stopping the Fed at the boarder. There is even a chance that there may be enough change in congress in November that the whole Obamination could be repealed in 2011.

Lawsuits arent going to make a tinkers damn bit of difference. All the states will LOSE in court and then what? We will all be fucked, thats what. The higher ups in these states who are filing these lawsuits are establishment and they know they are going to be tied up for years and that they will lose so its pointless. its just their way of making the sheeple think they are actually doing something. If the higher ups in these states really wanted to stop this bullshit they would NULLIFY the damned bill. With nullification you arent kissing the ring and asking anybody to grant you something that they could deny you. You are simply putting your foot down and saying NO.

I think you are overestimating the new laws chances of survival. Mandating that every U.S. citizen buy a product or service from a private business is not a power granted to the Federal Goverment. At least it isn't listed in the Constitution, and that is what matters. FEderal judges who's job it is to weigh law against the constitution will decide that in short order. The supreme court will come down on the side of the states.

You are right though. It's a States Rights issue though and through. The states should nullify it and dare Washington DC to enforce it. This battle isn't going away and the Obama nut swingers are going to run out of time. November is only 8 months away.

If the government can FORBID you from purchasing certain things, then it can also OBLIGATE you to purchase certain things.

The Constitution is mute about both, which are the mirror image of each other, so if one is allowed, the other must be as well.
