Anonymous Coward User ID: 101513 United States 03/30/2010 10:45 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I have a friend who is an OTOer and It seems odd to me but I know nothing about it. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 625720Ordo Templi Orientis Lodge has a website. It was founded by Grand Master mason Aliester Crowley, who proclaimed himself the 666 beast, and was openly occult and Baalist. Oriental masonic lodges accept atheists and anti-theists (& Satanists). What's called satanist rituals were invented by freemasons Aliphas Levi and Arthur Waite and Crowley and Anton LaVey, based on Baalist murder rituals. I'd avoid that friend, lest you become another sacrifice for someones' initiation rite, seriously. †††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††† |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 625720I actually have been reading the various sites on OTO but GLPers seem to know more about this kinds of things. Is there a way to help him? yeah..he's probably taking himself way too seriously...learning the tarot and some occult symbolism is valuable, but if he/she is not laughing then they are on the wrong path. |

Running the world would be too difficult at this point, a better plan would be to influence people's minds and change their world-view. Ahem... As a OTO member, it's actually beneficial in some sense for a society to have a working class that doesn't question what's happening around them. Again, this isn't a conspiracy and is not the product of a unilateral movement - it's simply convenience. 93 93/93 |

OTO running the world or a NWO control group? ROFLMFAO... obviously that crap comes from people who have no experience with the group, itself. I love my brothers and sisters, but it's far from world-controlling efficient. |

But not Satanists. More WICCA and modern FM. OTO and Thelema is a part of history now. Part of 20th century as totalitarism, feminism and New Age. They are mostly part of the Cult of Personality named Aleister Crowley. Dont have contacts with them - was internationaly highly ranged member once - finished with them at 1997. Fine by "me". Dont need them and dont wish to have any contacts with them. Only a part of a way in preparation for much more important mission. Tell your friend to think again about his membership there. UrbanPredator User ID: 922151 United States 04/01/2010 03:16 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Yes, the Ordo Templi Orientis (OTO) was founded by a man named Alistair Crowley in the twenties or thirties. It has a ritual it is centered on called the "Babylon Rite" which is highly sexual. They are a naughty bunch. This is not however unusual. In Wicca when casting a spell there is an essential part called raising energy. Sexual energy is very powerful and if one knows how to use it right can help cast the spell more efficiently. Casting a spell in Wicca is taking a thought (the desire) and casting it into the cosmic ether and this brings about subtle changes that bring the desire to fruition. Sex magick casts the spell into the cosmic ether very forcefully. The Babylon Rite was thought to be a means of bringing in the Anti-Christ. To believe in an Anti-Christ in the first place indicates that Crowley and the OTO did believe in God and Jesus. They couldn't possibly be good Wiccans then. Crowley died in the mid forties and wanted Gerald Gardner, the founder of American Wicca to take over. Gardner also died. The OTO dissolved into obscurity but we still have a legacy to this day. One disciple of the OTO was Jack Parsons, an American rocket scientist who was mysteriously killed in his home where he kept a small lab. His friend L. Ron Hubbard was trying to become the leader of the OTO but Crowley like parsins bests. Hubbard went on to be the founder of Scientology. This is all so ... abridged. I suggest you check it out for yourself. Never Quit! Never Surrender! |
