But generally, I've found that the flat earthers are MUCH MORE intelligent than the young earthers.

Young earthers take the Bible's word on everything, question nothing, and do zero further research.

Then how do you explain the fact that you can predict when and where satellites will appear based on your location on a round earth, and those predictions always come true? You can see ISS for yourself; it's up there, it exists, it's orbiting the earth at 17,000mph at an altitude of 200 miles. It couldn't do that if the earth were flat.

The Bible never claimed that earth is 6000 years old... masonic infiltrators did. They added up what generations are mentioned in the Bible and decided on 6000 years old, knowing that science would prove that false.

Bible never claimed to have every generation of man mentioned.

Bibles' genesis story matches the Sumerian genesis story, which makes Biblical religion as old as Sumerian glyphs, at least. Genesis 6:2-4 matches many myths of "gods" coming down to earth and producing offspring, which makes Biblical history as old as any mythology.

However, written languages don;'t appear in history until about 4000 BC, about 6000 years ago. But the monoliths of the gods predate that invention of men. [link to www.world-mysteries.com]

The cataclysm of Noah is evidenced by underwater and underground pyramids, and ruins found buried under sea silt way up at 13,300feet high, in the dig of Schindler-Bellamy & Rojo in Peru.

That proves a catclysm during habitation around 9,600 BC... not 6000 years ago. [link to www.atlan.org] & click.

Don't expect all Christians to conform to a small group of claimants of the 6000 years of earth. 6000 years of homo-sapien man may be true, but not likely either. The Bible does NOT conform to that view (ass-soul).

The Evolution Delusion - The Young Earth

[link to www.youtube.com]
Malcolm Bowden presents the decrease in the Earth's magnetic field and the decrease in the size of the sun.

A search of the technical literature in 1970 provided two important clues to this explanation of the earth's dipole magnet:

1) In 1883 Sir Horace Lamb solved the complex electromagnetic problem of a free current circulating in a conducting sphere.

2) Evaluations have been made on the strength and direction of this dipole magnet in the core of the earth ever since the first historic evaluation was made by Gauss in the 1835 epoch. The first clue predicted decay, the second clue confirmed it. Rarely in physics has there been a better illustration of a mathematical physics theory and such extensive observational data to confirm it.

Granite is not igneous

The earth was never molten to cool down as the uniformitarian evolution theory claims. Baserock granites cannot be heated to a molten state, recooled, and remain granite. It is reclassified at that point to another mineral having lost its crystaline structure inter-mix. For this reason they cannot produce granite in a lab, even though they can produce all types of other mineral, even something close to diamond. Granite as found was created by God just 6000 years ago on the first day.

THE EARTH WAS NEVER MOLTEN COOLING DOWN

Another textbook fabrication

Granite was never molten and is not an igneous rock. It cannot be produced in a lab. Also interesting that granite has other properties called radio halos showing it was formed almost instantaneous. This was published in science journals decades ago. As yet unrefuted! (Radiohalos in Radiochronological and Cosmological Perspective. Gentry, R.V., Science 184,62,1974)

How is disc theory different? My understanding is that modern flat earthers already think the earth is "disc-shaped."
And have you actually been to the ISS to confirm this?
 Quoting: AC

I don't need to be. I've seen it from a number of locations on the ground telescopically, by predicting its location based on my position and its orbital elements; if they were lying about either its height or its speed, then my computerized tracking technique based on those predictions wouldn't work.

Re: Which belief is more INSANE...6000 year old Earth or Flat Earth theory?
According to Einstein's general theory of relativity the universe would be about 6 days old at the event horizon of the expanding universe. One would think it would only be 1 second old, but due to the intense gravity in the beginning, photons were travelling at less than the speed of light.

The actual age of the universe depends on the observer's perspective. It could be 6 days old at the edge, or 15 billion years old at our solar system or much older at the point of origin,

The Torah says that G-d "rested" on the 7th day, indicating that here the perspective of the narrative shifts from a Universal one to an earth-centric one, and the Biblical timeline begins there.

The concept of Adam as the "first" man is no different from that of Arctic aboriginals who refer to themselves as "Inuit" (people) and the rest of us as "Kabloonuit" (others).

I have no problem with the Biblical narrative, but one has to read it with a critical mind and go deeper when things seem to make no sense.

Written Debate

The issue is: Does the scientific evidence favor creation or evolution? Dr. Brown痴 standing offer for a strictly scientific, written, and publishable debate is on page 424. Note that a few initially agreed to a strictly scientific debate, but later changed their minds, insisting they would only take part if the exchange included religion. One evolutionist is so upset that a written debate will not include religion that he now misleads by saying that Walt Brown has refused to debate him. (Correspondence in our files shows how he no longer wanted a strictly scientific debate after reading the 6th edition of this book.) Dr. Brown has consistently maintained his position for 28 years: the debate should be limited to scientific evidence. If someone says, 展alt Brown has refused to debate, we suggest you ask to see that person痴 signed debate agreement.

Recorded Phone Debate

For anyone who disagrees with the hydroplate theory (explained in Part II of this book), the recorded phone debate is appropriate. Anyone, regardless of their scientific credentials, can engage Dr. Brown, provided they have read the theory. For details, see page 427.

Too complex to answer here, but when they say the earth is 6k yrs old. I think they mean that there was an earth before that but it was wiped clean. Lost through the translations of the bible, it's believed that it starts off "after the new beginning" or something like that, as opposed to In the beginning. But it's really all conjecture. Nobody really knows about that but we do know the earth is round. So the bible is saying there was actually something here before the present.

Could be! But perhaps there was some event 6k years ago and man was almost wiped out. Wouldn't that start a new beginning for mankind? Maybe that is what the bible means by "In the beginning"? Hard to say, one way or the other.

Flat earth theory. The horizon would not be circular from a high place, unless the earth was round!

just go to the beach and look at the horizon. if you follow the line of the ocean from one end of the beach to the other end, you will see a very slight curve. the earth is so big that you can't tell that it is round unless you look at the horizon this way.

also, think about this. if the earth was flat, then ships wouldn't disappear "below the horizon." they would just get smaller and smaller, and you would be able to see the west coast of europe from the east coast of the usa with a telescope. try it. you won't be able to see europe because the earth is round.

wow. common sense lacking on glp much?

That being said, the 6000 year old earthers are the most idiotic. Flatearthers, I can understand.. you look out at the horizon and it seems relatively flat, easy to mistake that.

Whereas 6000 year old earthers just believe that because some schmuck told them to believe it, reading from some child-like fairytale book. How idiotic is that?
