Haunting Ouija Board Experience...
OK, I didn't have too much luck with my "German" thread, and I'm bored, so here's another topic.

When I was in my early 20s, I was fascinated with the paranormal (still am, but more careful now). One day I listened to a radio talk show with a professor of parapsychology, who talked about contacting the dead.

He said anyone could do it, just by writing the letters of the alphabet, yes, no, and so forth on a piece of paper and swinging a pendulum over it. I had paper, a pen, and a pendulum, so I was game. I had no idea I was making a Ouija board, didn't even know such a thing existed at that time. It was just fun and a way to pass a boring evening home alone.

At first I only got a bunch of gibberish, but then I started getting something. It still sounded like some lunatic's babbling, but I remember he/she/it said a star would fall on the Earth, and the star was named Weide. Next it talked about an ex-BF of mine and said he would die in a car accident.

I got freaked out and ripped up the piece of paper. I even tried calling the professor (in my naivety I thought I'd gotten important information about that star and wanted the world to know ;o)), but only his wife was there and yelled at me that I shouldn't do that kind of stuff, that it was dangerous, and that people had ended up in the madhouse over that. I just shrugged and guessed she didn't like strange women calling her husband in the middle of the night.

The next night I was at home and had basically forgotten all about my little experiment. I was sitting at my desk watching TV when all of a sudden I felt like someone was watching me from behind. I turned around, but no one was there. Still, that uncomfortable feeling didn't go away. That night, I had a horrendous nightmare of Satan standing at the foot of my bed and reaching out for me. I woke up in a cold sweat and couldn't sleep for the rest of the night.

From then on, it got worse and worse. The only thing that helped me fall asleep at night was reciting the Lord's Prayer over and over and calling on Jesus to help me (I wasn't overly religious, but hey! whatver works, right?).

Soon I became sleep-deprived and exhausted and felt like I was losing my mind. The feeling of permanently being watched still haunted me.

Then one evening, I was sitting at my desk again (the only chair in my little studio apartment) and got that being-watched sensation again. I turned around, expecting not to see anything like all the other times... and there was a dark-gray fog hovering below the ceiling, kind of undulating and very threatening.

I felt like I was in the presence of pure evil. That thing was sentient and wanted something from me, that much was clear. Suddenly I received a blow to my stomach, as though someone had punched me into the solar plexus, and as I doubled over, I could feel energy being sucked out of that spot. It felt horrible, like a vampire sucking the life out of me.

I prayed for God and Jesus and Archangel Michael to rescue me. And then I got pissed off. I screamed at the thing under the ceiling to go away -- something like "In the name of Jesus Christ, I COMMAND you to leave -- RIGHT NOW!" At the same time, I opened the window... and the thing vanished.

I threw away all my paranormal books and the pendulum and didn't deal with stuff like that for numerous years.

It caught up to me again, though -- seven years later. But that's another long story.

Has anyone had similar experiences with a Ouija board or haunting?

I won't allow one in my house. I don't know if they really work or not, but it seems to me that they could potentially mess with something that ought not be messed with.

That thing, the demonic fog, or whatever you want to call it. Since that first time, I've had many encounters with the Dark Side. I've also had some uplifting ones with light energy, so I've seen the good, the bad, and the ugly.

Once I even saw a "demon" or whathamacallit clinging to a person's neck. Another time I saw a person's face change into something else and give me a message from the "devil."

Thankfully, I haven't had those experiences for years now. I always chuckle, though, when I hear people say that evil is only inside of people, basically our darker psychological urges. I can attest to it that evil is very real and not just some abstract psychological phenomenon... there are external evil spirits (and of course the good/light/divine ones) that are out to get you.

I learned a lot in those many years that I had to deal with those things. For example, evil can't take you by force.

It can only try to a) tempt you, or b) scare you shitless. Usually a) comes first and if that doesn't work, b) is applied.

The temptation is always about something you really, really want... most likely more than anything else in the world. For me it was my Green Card at the time, and I had my own "temptation in the desert" that could have easily cost me my life. I was saved by a hair's width.

For someone else it might be love, a relationship, money, power, anything really that you desire with every fiber of your heart. That's where they try to get you, and they will promise that you can have what you want, IF ONLY you'll do something that's not entirely kosher and that will feel like it's going against what you believe in morally. It will require compromising your integrity, maybe at first only in small ways, but trust me, it will get more and more over time... until you're entirely corrupted -- or at least that's the plan.

If you want to know more about the supernatural, good and evil, ask me. I'm kind of an expert by now on these things... ;o)

Interesting and informative. Thank you for sharing your experience. I agree that those things should not be messed with, because you are in a sense giving permission.

Do you believe that visualizing a white light of protection around yourself or a loved one actually works?

No, at least not any time after the Ouija game. I lost touch with him about 20 years ago, so I don't know what happened to him since then. But I wasn't counting on it anyway. These entities are the lower-astral scum -- they lie and cheat and would say anything to keep your interest.

The one that I got didn't even seem to be all that smart; I've heard of some clever ones that pretend to be advanced aliens, spirit guides, light beings from another dimension, you-name-it.

That's why I don't trust any channeler anymore; some are simply frauds, some are deluded, and God knows what it is that speaks through the rest.

White light CAN work, but only if you're a pro at using this visualization. In other words, you'll have to practice for a long time to make it "real" (i.e., to give it enough substance so it works), and you have to be well-trained enough to be able to hold up the white-light shield while being out and about, perhaps even while you're being attacked.

So, for people who just try it a couple times and feel protected, I'd say no.

And no, I haven't seen my guardian angel, but I had many divine interventions in my life -- some that saved my butt in bad situations, some just helping me making good things happen.

Re: Haunting Ouija Board Experience...
My friends and I played with one as teenagers, they were messing around with me trying to scare me with stuff but none of what was going on was real. It still freaked me out so I took the Ouija board and threw it in the trash. A while later I was looking in the hall closet and it was back in the stack of games. I was so freaked out, I asked my brothers if they'd dug it out of the trash and no one ever confessed. I have always wondered who or what put that back in the closet. I disposed of it again and it never came back.

There is a really nasty looking picture of me that keeps reappearing throughout my life too, I remember specifically ripping it up a couple of times and yet when I go through my mother's old photos there that damn thing is.

Re: Haunting Ouija Board Experience...
Very creepy. I once heard a similar story from an acquaintance; of course I can't vouch for it since I wasn't there, but here's what he told me:

He and his sister found a Ouija board on top of a kitchen cabinet and decided to play with it. They didn't get much in terms of results, but were still kind of creeped out, so they threw the board in the trash outside.

The next morning, it was back on top of the kitchen cabinet.

Now they were REALLY scared and tried to burn the board outside in a metal barrel. He said they stuffed newspaper all around it and threw some other things into the barrel for good measure -- everything burned to ashes, but the board was not even singed.

They actually had to pour gasoline over it, and then it finally worked.

As I said, don't know if it's true, but it's definitely a frightening story.

You should learn a thing or two about psychic protection. The thing you did with calling out to Jesus and everybody else was perfect, but you have to prepare yourself before hand for protection. Then after you have gone through your proceedings, you must clear the area...similar to a way that you did.

PSYCHIC PROTECTION PEOPLE!!! Its not a dirty word.

Re: Haunting Ouija Board Experience...
I agree, but honestly, I've read so many accounts of Ouija experiences, and the ones that did something at all were almost never positive.

So meanwhile I believe that you can only reach one dimension with an Ouija board, what people call the lower astral realm. There are no ascended masters there, no angels or spiritual guides, Granny isn't there, nor is your friend who just died of leukemia. Only the worst kind of nonphysical thugs and scoundrels.

Why even risk it and contact those beings at all? For a cheap thrill? I know from other boards (e.g., ATS) that some people think they'll get a kick out of contacting whatever's out there, but that's only if you like being haunted and tormented and eaten alive.

Otherwise, I'd keep my hands off of it.

It does. What I also find interesting is that some almost-abductees say they were able to stop an alien abduction in the process by calling on the blood of Jesus or some such. Assuming that's true, it would mean that aliens ARE actually demonic entities/evil spirits. Otherwise, why wouldn't they just laugh and keep going?

I beg to differ. I used to be a professional Tarot reader for a while and worked in a place together with ca. 20 other psychics, channelers, etc. I could tell you stories... quite a few of those people -- experienced diviners, as you call them -- had a LOT of problems, some without even knowing that entities were attached to them. Not pretty.

Don't let it get to you! That's why I stopped reading Tarot cards... I realized that I was actually CREATING people's future.

The mind is incredibly powerful, and if a psychic tells you something, even if you may not believe it, it sticks with you, somewhere in the back of your mind... and you could make happen, as in "self-fulfilling prophecy."

Not that I ever told people horrible things, but some of my colleagues at the spiritual center weren't so cautious. I heard rumors about psychics in our center that flat-out told people they were going to get terminal illnesses soon or would die in horrible accidents.

That is SO irresponsible and cruel. You see, if you see the future, it's just a POSSIBLE future -- I guess the most likely one if you follow the path you're on. But every day people make choices, and often a small change can have big long-term consequences (for the better or the worse), so no one can for SURE foretell what will happen in your future.

These days, if I did readings again, I would solely go for the counseling, i.e., is there something you're doing that you shouldn't be, or something you're not doing that you should be, and how will those choices influence your life? That kind of thing.

Re: Haunting Ouija Board Experience...
yes i did, bad ones ofcourse, cause thats all thats associated with the board, evil.

i was playing with a guy friend of mine who liked my best friend, he asked the board to have her call him right then, a minute later the phone rings and its her, i asked her why she called me right then, she said she was sitting and eating with her mom and an overwhelming urge made her jump up to call me for no apparent reason, then i told her what we were doing and she was very upset.

its scary a demon probably entered her body to make that happen but its very weird and scary stuff.

after a few more things happened i never touched it again.

I don't think demons/spirits can easily enter your body... they somehow have to be invited -- free will and all that. Of course you can invite them unknowingly, but there has to be some kind of receptivity, IMO. But one could have nudged her a bit, kind of "whispered into her ear" to call you.
