It's not Genesis or Revelation. It is the Saros cycle.

The saros is a period of 223 synodic months (about 18 years, 11 days).

The saros is, more precisely, a period of 6585.322 days (14 normal years + 4 leap years + 11.322 days, or 13 normal years + 5 leap years + 10.322 days).

The saros cycle is useful for predicting the occurrence of eclipses.

For example, Solar Saros 81 began on May 12, -322 (81 is the number worn by the Hell's Angels), and 9 / 11 = 0.8181818181818181.
