Anonymous Coward 04/27/2005 02:17 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | " On every article, we list what trustworthy source our information. We still question everything we read. "Is this real?". You´d be amazed how many people believe in urban legands. Those are stories which could be true; which sound true; but have absolutely no factual basis. "Sorcha Faal", the author of the following story, is an interesting story teller, and a great resource for conspiracy nuts. Much like the Weekly World News does, "she" takes a few facts, and spins a wild story out of it. We contacted "Sorcha Faal" regarding a previous story, which we didn´t run. It was interesting, but was missing factual sources. We asked for "her" credentials, and were given a link to "her" own page, which claims she is an "International Researcher and Author", from St. Petersburg, Russia. Several of her stories claim relations with the Russian Academy of Sciences. While researching the credentials of "Sorcha Faal", we asked our own researcher, Mikahel B, who really is in St. Petersburg, Russia, to find out everything he could about "Sorcha Faal". "Sorcha Faal" is not a Russian name. Our best guess is that it is Gaelic. When he contacted the Russian Academy of Sciences, their response was "Who?". He couldn´t find anyone who had ever heard of "Sorcha Faal". "Sorcha Faal" won´t supply information about "her" sources, with the presumption of protecting their privacy. Unfortunately, these super-secret sources, with these amazing revelations, aren´t available to confirm anything. In case you don´t get where we´re going with this, "Sorcha Faal" is a pseudonym, for an American conspiracy nut. All of "her" articles take a little bit of truth, and mix in a dark conspiracy spin. If you glance over any of her stories, you may be stunned at what they´re saying, but if you research the details, you´ll find the stories to be full of more holes than Uncle Bob´s childhood stories." source: [ link to freeinternetpress.com] |

Well I posted a breakdown of Sorcha based on lexical analysis and other "idiosyncratic" means of sleuthing here at GLP quite a while ago. It´s pretty obvious that "Sorcha" is a not-too-well-traveled US or Canadian male, not overly educated and with a lot of spare time to surf the ´net. |
