So many? Maybe a thousand in the US? Compared to how many thousands of pedophile priests? Puhleaze!



I know of no global accounting but that list on the front page contains more than there have been cases against Catholic priests in this country.

The Southern Baptist Association in 2008 REFUSED to start or construct a database and did so as an organization.

Talk about a cover up!

It was suggested to address the problem it is so rampant and the church leaders REFUSED.

This is the same thing the Catholic Church is being so maligned for doing.


That's because the abuses of priests are covered up, information stalled until after the statutes of limitations pass, victims are forced to swear to secrecy or refused help, and so on.

I.e. all the cover-up stuff you've been hearing about.

So the fact that the Protestant offenders were caught and prosecuted is a good thing, and what is missing from Catholic sexual abuses of priest cases.
