Leaving out the haarp stuff that I am sure that lot will start spewing nonsense about, what causes rolling vs just shaking? Quoting: nomindTectonic plate sliding perhaps, instead of the usual pressure snap? It is the San Andreas waking up and starting to slip. It will get worse not necessarily right away but soon, before it get's better and by then there will be much loss. |

Quoting: orby5.1 on the Andy Richter scale Sorry, a 5.1 isn't even close to being considered a "big one." Get off your high horse. 5.1 is plenty big for an aftershock Sorry, lol. Not getting on a high horse, I guess living on top of a 7.2 just readjusts your scale of what's big and what's not... |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 933776 United States 04/04/2010 07:31 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I felt an East-West rolling for about 11 seconds here in Glendale Arizona, a city northwest of Phoenix. My vertical blinds were swaying, and the tassels on my ceiling fan were swaying too. Actually, right now they are swaying (4:27 pm arizona time), just a leetle bit. I thought I was having blood pressure problems, that it was just me bobbing in my chair, but the blinds said otherwise. Went outside, my neighbors didn't notice it. Spooked me a bit. Oddly, I did not get a headache for this one, which is typical for me feeling big quakes around the area. Instead, last night, I had the urge to take out my sleeping bag and sleep on the living room floor of my apartment, instead of my bed. That is weird for me, maybe it is an instinct. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 837003 United States 04/04/2010 07:31 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I'm finding it odd that CNN has not mentioned Las Vegas. I can see them getting lots of tweets from people....for like 30 min or more...but they won't mention it at all. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 934377The One has told the media not to mention Las Vegas in the news as punishment for their mayor snubbing him. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 902041 United States 04/04/2010 07:32 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Like I said I am in Vegas. The shaking, more like swaying was slight but noticeable. I first i thought I was getting dizzy or sick, like vertigo, then I noticed my ceiling fan and table were moving. I was like WTF? Did anyone else get that dizzy feeling. And yes people, those in Vegas and Arizona did feel this quake. It is all over the internet. |

I noticed my fingers were hurting me when i tried to bend them but I ignored it. I usually get very sore fingers right before a quake. This swaying is driving me nuts, it's making me dizzy! |

Quoting: orbyPlease do not say that without full explanation! Now the map shows two big ones and three little aftershocks. This is not over yet! One of the most important aspects of conspiracy theories is being able to discern when there isn't one. Oh yeah, like you'd understand anyway. Where are we going and why am I in this handbasket?. . .J. Handy |
