When TSHTF would money be worthless? will the sheople be suffering during the economic collapse?

I am not sure if I should say this about the sheople,I have heard the average person out in NZ saying when the economic collapse or TSHTF,the lottery will save them,I told them thats not the case,I told when TSHTF money will become worthless like what happened in Germany and the Weimar Republic during the 20s,in NZ I have been told some people have already started preparing for the worse like stocking up on food,weapons,medical supplies,torches and other neccessities

Is the sheople claim that money will save them BS?
