Re: Did this guy just discover Planet X?
don't know about your Google Sky program, but in mine the
the confirmed coordinates for this star (6h42m8.44s, 41 40' 18.94") are blacked out!!

I only see a huge black square.. so someone is blocking access to this location in Google Sky..

strange.. they are already hiding this!!!
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 556010

Google sky has issues; it's a secondary source of information, not a primary source. Primary sources like this one DO show the coordinates and show that nothing is there:
[link to archive.stsci.edu]
Google sky is just drawing from previously done sky surveys, including the above. Always refer back to an original sky survey.

Personally, I don't expect to find anything that isn't already shown in the above image (and actually significantly less since I'll be using a tighter field of view than that). We'll see.

Ok cmon now,

A BS flag on this ??? This is very cool stuff. even if it is not anything spectacular. It is real and verifiable science that anyone with a telescope can do.

Some things (well a lot of things here) justly deserve a BS flag.

i think we're being shown shots of Betelgeuse, and given the coordinates of an admittedly mysterious blacked out spot on Google Sky, just to fuck with our heads for a day or so.

Still, should keep Astronut busy.

You're probably right, but at least it'll give me viewers for my broadcast and maybe they'll keep watching afterwards when I start observing the orion nebula, etc. Maybe they'll even learn a few things about real astronomy in the process.

That's one of the things I found most intriguing as well.

The later video with the moving object is something of interest, as I observed a similar situation in the northeastern skies about 6 years ago while using my telescope one night.

Also check the other videos on his channel, good stuff! I´ll post the Planet X ones in chronological order:

Confirmed coordinates for this star is:

Planet X?? (also referred to as Nibiru, The Destroyer, or just Brown Dwarf).

This planet or failed star supposedly comes around Earth every 3600 years and creates destruction on Earth and is due to come around in 2012.

So, I've very been interested in capturing an Infrared video of this very large orange object which is visible right now just to the upper left of the star constellation, "Orion the Hunter". This bright orange planet or star is not on any star map, and Mars is over by the "Cancer" star constellation, so it isn't Mars.

Just to point out, Brown dwarfs are too cool to give off much visible light but they do emit substantial amounts of infrared radiation, but they are detectible by ground-based and spaceborne infrared telescopes.

So, that being the case, I wanted to see how bright the infrared video would be on my Yukon IR camera. After capturing this video, I came to the conclusion that this planet or star is actually giving off a lot of infrared radiation. As you can in the video, I scanned other parts of the sky to show how bright this object really is compared to the other stars.

With that, I'm going to continue monitoring and recording video of this object on every clear night to see if this is getting bigger by the day or week. If it is getting bigger, that would clue us in that this could be Nibiru and is coming closer to us.

Also, an important thing to remember, one of the air shafts in the king's chamber in the great pyramid of Eygpt points to the first star on the left of Orion's belt. That is very close to the location of this orange bright object. My question is, were they trying to tell us that Nibiru will be aligned with this 1st star on Orion's belt in 2012?

Anyways, I'll continue giving updates when I can...

Brown dwarfs are sub-stellar objects which are too low in mass to sustain stable hydrogen fusion. Their mass is below that necessary to maintain hydrogen-burning nuclear fusion reactions in their cores, as do stars on the main sequence, but which have fully convective surfaces and interiors, with no chemical differentiation by depth. Brown dwarfs occupy the mass range between that of large gas giant planets and the lowest mass stars; this upper limit is between 75[1] and 80 Jupiter masses (MJ). Currently there is some debate as to what criterion to use to define the separation between a brown dwarf from a giant planet at very low brown dwarf masses (~13 MJ ), and whether brown dwarfs are required to have experienced fusion at some point in their history. In any event, brown dwarfs heavier than 13 MJ do fuse deuterium and those above ~65 MJ also fuse lithium. The only planets known to orbit brown dwarfs are 2M1207b and MOA-2007-BLG-192Lb

Confirmed coordinates for this star is:
6h42m8.44s, 41 40' 18.94"

[link to www.nasa.gov]

[link to www.PlanetxSpecialReport.com]

This is an IR video(black and white) to PROVE to the naysayers how close this "orange colored" star (possibly Planet X) is near Orion's belt. I'm not saying I believe this is Planet X(Nibiru), but it is plausible if you have an open mind and think outside of the box. Again, this is just an observation of mine since I know for a fact that this star or planet is NOT MARS, SIRIUS, OR SATURN.

If one day, Planet X is proved to exist, there will still be shallow minded people out there denying it even when it's right in front of their faces.

In this video, I start at Orion's belt. Then at 40 sec, I pan to the upper left part of the sky to an "orange colored" star. I then pan back to Orion's belt at 2min10 sec and then I pan back to the orange colored star again at 3min.

Confirmed coordinates for this orange colored planet of star is: 6h42m8.44s, 41 40' 18.94" (Google Sky has this area blacked out!)

[link to www.dailymotion.com]
[link to www.nasa.gov]
[link to www.PlanetxSpecialReport.com]

Here's another quick video update of the orange colored planet. Is it getting any larger since 3/18/10?

I found (3) interesting things in this video!

1.) Orange colored planet - Planet X?

2.) The moon or planet orbiting it has changed position 3 times!

3.) The streak of light (tail of light) behind an unknown fast moving object possibly coming from this orange colored planet. Replay it over and over again 12-13 seconds and you'll see the tail of light. It almost looks like some kind of thruster or rocket ejection.

I picked up a very fast moving object just after i started the recording. I wish I would've started the video sooner to see if it came directly from the orange colored planet. Then it leaves a streak of light at 12-13 seconds! Very interesting!

Also, notice the (moon or planet) orbiting it this orange planet or star. Compare the position of this moon or planet orbiting it with my other two videos. You'll find the position of it is different in each video. This is very interesting. As you may already know, Planet X(Nibiru) supposedly has around 2-3 moons or planets orbiting it.

Luke 21:25 "And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring"

Only orange star i know around Orion is none other than betelgeuse

Orange stars in and of themselves are not particularly unique, though many are below visible brightness. For instance, there's one near the top and center of this image of the Orion nebula, nowhere near betelgeuse:
[link to farm3.static.flickr.com]
What is interesting about this claim is that the coordinates don't correspond to any major star according to sky surveys, so if it's true it's something new.

Later tonight I'll have a look and stream video of those coordinates using an infrared sensitive camera here:
[link to www.ustream.tv]
I'll try to be online by 9pm, but depending on how telescope setup goes it might take as long as 10pm (*eastern time). It's all weather-dependent of course, but right now it's clear.

By the way, if this guy really is seeing it by eye as "orange," then there's no need to use an infrared capable camera since our eyes can't see in infrared. I will use an infrared-capable one nonetheless, for completeness.
