Some strange things about #s

A friend introduced me to this mathematical anomaly .

I don’t know what it is , what it means

But there is something cool

Interesting about it :

When you divide any number by 7

You get the same repeating series of numbers

1/7=.1428571
2/7=.2587142
3/7=.4285714

What is this ?

any one know ?

I investigated that somewhat, since several years. The number 7 has been seen as a special, scared number for thousands of years for some reason.

Numbers have both quantitative qualitative aspects. They can be seen as quantity and as hieroglyphs, as you certainly know from Hebrew.

The characteristic you refer to is self-similarity, or fractality. Any number divided by seven gives a sequence of multiples of seven, with the action of One intermingled.

Look: 14-28-57 (56+1)...

Why 57 and not 56? Because of multi-dimensionality:

also 142-285(+1 again)-571(+1 gain) etc etc etc

7142857142857

1428-2857-5714 and so on and on.

Now try to create several layers and see how it goes:

Notation is difficult here, the numbers connect like fish scales or roof tiles:

85+85=170, so

84+1

71428571428
84
170
1

The future acts upon the past. In a certain way "Ehyeh asher ehyeh".

Do you grasp what I mean? I would need to consult my old notes to transmit this to you in a better way...
