Your current body is just borrowed. Your true self will not die but it has never been planned by God that you keep the same "lesson learning" 3D identity forever and ever. To live forever you have to reach out the higher dimensions where you are more in control of your body.
Even the ones who don't die have a sleep period to regenerate.
