I've been through worse economic times than this, with kids, no job skills and I was just a kid myself. I've never been on welare, unemployment or disability.

You've had, what, YEARS on a dole to get thru Tier 4?

In that time, you could have gotten an associates degree and become a nurse, programmer, respiratory therapist, mechanic, landscaper, all on evening classes. You could have even taken online part time classes to get more skills.

Downscale your life and accept a job that someone is willing to hire you for, if you can't retrain.

Most of the unemployed are retraining(takes years to get a degree) but in the meantime it's called FOOD AND SHELTER. If I took away your food and shelter tomorrow. WHAT WOULD YOU DO!!!!

I told you, I've been in hard times worse than this before. And I never took welfare, unemployment, etc.

If the gov't hadn't been feeding you checks all these years while you've been unemployed, do you think you'd still be in this same spot now? No, you would have been forced to move on, get training, or do something for god's sake.

The unemployment extensions were very generous. Now move on with your life.
