Yeah, I've had profound experiences, as well. It's just that most of the time I can't stop smiling/laughing, and whatever I try to imagine becomes hysterical. One time though, on acid, I opened a random number generator. I was wearing a shirt that had the #73 on it and I said "If there is a god (I was very agnostic and skeptical), show me a sign and bring up 73" and it came up on the first try. After that I guessed 62 and 60-something came up. I also had some profound thoughts. I remember one of them was the fact that women are just as aggressive sexually as men. Despite the fact that men get the reputation as being horny all the time, women are looking for a mate, and just as desperate for a partner, and that men wield a lot of the power in that aspect, which is the complete opposite of what I had always thought up until then. I also read a lot of Edgar Cayce. Toward the end, after nearly 20 hours of the trip, I slipped into a sleep-like state and in the "dream", there was a fat, rugged type guy with teeth missing, and I was massaging his neck and arms telling him it was going to be okay, while he was explaining that he was a trucker and had just gotten into a head-on collision and died.
