A thought came into my mind this morning. We know they found the black boxes. How long does it take to listen to at least the last hour of the flight? Long enough to spin a story that would sound plausible to a waiting public.

We hear that the pilot of the plane was advised a couple of times not to land. Why would the pilot not obey that warning? It appears to me that he had no choice but to try because something was very wrong with the plane, which became apparent as it descended. He may even have made the attempt to lift the plane for flight to another airport.

We'll never know. We're still hearing stories of how the plane was old and didn't have the instruments to land in the fog. Observer reports say that the fog wasn't that thick to obscure the landing. Sooooo....what was discovered in the black boxes will never be told. IMO.
