Well that was refreshing! A much easier listen than a read.

I've always had a hard time buying into concepts that don't at least have some basis in actual science.

I feel like it's more grounded when there's a foundation of science.

Perception does NOT affect objective reality. This has been proven many times, usually with tragic effects on participants making the attempt.

There are many anecdotal stories about groups of monks believing they can stop bullets with the power of their mind (i.e. - belief) only to be killed when they discover that they cannot.

So, even if every person on Earth got together and concentrated on keeping a massive solar flare from hitting the Earth the net effect would be 4 billion crispy fried humans when the flare impacts.

I'm all for peace, love, and happy-thoughts - but their not going to prevent bad things from happening to you in the physical realm.
