people in the bible didn't know anything about Subsahara Africa. Nobody could cross the Sahara Desert and live, it's as big as the United States.

People couldn't travel into the jungle there because they would be dead in a matter of days, either from blacks, or bugs or diseases. explorers into sub sahara Africa never returned to tell any tales of their travels.

that is why nobody knew anything about Africa until the english explorers in the last couple centuries.
