Anonymous Coward User ID: 947363 United States 04/19/2010 01:02 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I heard this ghost story on the radio. I thought it was a good one. A woman was living in a passed down farmhouse. She moved in after an uncle had died. She noticed that things had been moved in the house and when she went out to feed the horses, she noticed that they had already been fed, watered and brushed every day. She met up with the ghost that was doing it all the time. He kept bothering her and he put a mark on her arm one night. She spoke to the ghost and told it to leave the farmhouse. The ghost said that he wouldn't cause he loved taking care of the horses. She then said that if he would move to the stable down the road, there would be plenty of horses to take care of. He took up her offer and to this day, the horses are groomed and watered at the other stable and he hadn't bothered her again. I can't tell the story verbatum, but this is what I can remember and this is a true story, I heard another creepier one, I'll tell it later. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 894464 United Kingdom 04/19/2010 08:08 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I had a flat in Edge Hill in Wimbledon when I was about 26 or so. Woke up one night, and I mean straight up, bolt-upright for no reason. At the foot of the bed was a young lady, wearing a white dress or robe. I knew immediately that there was no reason to panic, that she meant me no harm. She just looked at me. With a kind of vacant smile! After a few seconds the reality of what was going on suddenly kicked in and I legged it out of there downstairs to the front of the flats. 3 or 4 weeks later, my mate was there on his own for the night, and swears he saw the same woman float across the doorway while he was cooking....shit the life out of him. I know what I saw! Many years later when the web came about, I looked into the site of the flats, (Public record if anyone doubts), and Edge Hill Court was built on the site of an unusual nunnery, especially noted in the records for wearing white habits, as opposed to black! Freaked me out, that hair on the back of the neck moment! |

anonymous coward User ID: 947216 United Kingdom 04/20/2010 04:03 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Why do ghosts like the end of the bed so much? Anyway, about 12 years ago I felt a bad presence in my flat. A few nights later I woke up to see a man walking across the room. I thought someone had broken in but he when he stopped he had his back to me. He turned around and looked at me with complete hate and then vanished. I was later told by a priest with discernment that I had had a spiritual visitation and it was because I had been messing around with occult stuff (I had gone to see a woman for crystal spiritual healing). First I would like to say that I refused to let him ruin my life and make me live in fear and secondly DO NOT mess around with occult stuff as this opens a door and lets them in. |
