Run a string line, pound the posts in about every 5' and then wire the wire up... Home Depot told you to use chemically treated wood because the dirt rots wood... Your wood fence wouldn't have lasted long without the treatment. If you keep a buffer zone away from your food plants - like, put 2' of flowers between the fence and your garden veggies, I would think you would have been fine. Tearing it out makes little to no sense to me. I have a wooden fence around mine (chemically treated lumber) and I'm alive and kicking - |
