Instead of working at some meaningless job, I could rescue homeless animals. But I do think if you have less material things, you have more freedom in a sense. |

BRIEF AND TO THE POINT User ID: 381742 United States 04/21/2010 12:23 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Hookers are expensive... Poor people do poor people things, and rich people do rich people things. You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity by legislating the wealthy out of prosperity. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friend, is the beginning of the end of any nation. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it! when you rob Paul to give to Peter ... ... ... you will always get Peters support! :Brieffromnativea: |

You need money to buy the necessities of life, and there is no other use for it but to buy useless shit, a house that you can't afford, a vehicle you can't afford. Everyone needs a home, a car, food, and any medical care needed. Beyond that, it is all materialistic shit. When does everyone wise up and tell the bankers to go to hell, and start to live like intelligent human beings? Quoting: Dirtfarmer:big pig: ...and his possessions multiplied and he began to suffocate. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 928852 United States 04/21/2010 12:26 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I understand it now--- I personally will never be a very rich and wealthy person (in the eyes of society, im rich right now in my own eyes) because i share. I would share half of everything i had with the loved ones around me- and for that reason alone- i will never be very rich and wealthy unless i hit some type of lottery.... simply because- i am not greedy in any way... Greed has consumed peoples thoughts- needing more then they actually NEED.... I did the math... an average human being can live the rest of their lives While supporting a family- off of absolutely No money... The paper is worthless- its the natural resources you need to harness... For instance... I can live off the land completely- still using modern technology and even MORE advanced technologies... use windmills/solar panels for Powering things... Use it to power your water well... use it to power lights to grow food/herbs indoors then grow outdoors when climate is suitable... etc etc it goes on with no need for money... Money is like Time-- they put that layer over the planet- making people Think they need money and we have a certain Time period to get it.. its a very very good way to divide the people and turn us into savages- Praise goes out to everyone who kept there Intelligent Human instincts... beings of Light and Love- we shall prevail! |
cg User ID: 881494 United States 04/21/2010 12:29 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | An idea: People obsessed with money have no friends, they save, they take the very best things, brag, scheme and con to get status and compete with others just like them. And if the money goes, they have no friends, no personalty, no skills, and they are alone and broke, homeless and waiting to die. So they obsess on money to avoid these facts and the much bigger fact of .. They can't even conceive this, being a better person, becasue in their eyes the worth is a dark place and only the law keeps people alive otherwise it is kill or be killed that may be why Let be be finale of seem The only emperor is the emperor of ice cream--Wallace Stevens I have seen the eternal footman hold my coat and snicker and in short I was afraid--T.S. Returner User ID: 997 United States 04/21/2010 12:35 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I need money, because money BUYS cool shit. Money also buys time, and freedom. I need a big-ass fast computer for my work. The bigger and faster the better. That isn't cheap. So I need money. I enjoy movies. It's more fun watching them on a big-ass TV with a big-ass surround sound system. None of that gear is cheap. So I need money. I like motorcycles. They aren't given away. so I need money. I like books. Lots and lots of books. I get paper ones and digital ones, to read on my Kindle. None are free. Music? See above. It isn't free, unless you're a fucking lowlife stealing thief, and neither is good stereo gear and speakers. So I need money. If you think that makes me bad, well, I couldn't possibly care less. Mainly because I'm kicked back in my leather recliner engrossed in a movie with a good book and some good wine for later tonight. |

Enough to grow my own food. That way I won't need any medical services cause my food is clean. I'll be healthy. Other than that I don't need anything else. |
