Anyway look up these workouts called Callanetics! It's truly phenomenal, the workouts are so relaxing once you are doing them correctly and are not jerking or pushing. Google results of the workouts. I am doing the 10 years in 10 hours DVD 4-5 x a week. It is kinda of old school but there are newer versions such as Callanetics Evolution. I have only done 3 hours and I already feel so much stronger and I am noticing my body slimming! These workouts REALLY work, they are small repetitive movements very gentle and almost zen feeling. They work your muscles SOOOO deeply that you will literally look like you've lost 10 lbs or more by all your muscles being tightened so effectively. You can find some of the workouts on youtube as well to give you an idea. Whatever you do DON'T resort to something that is ONLY going to hurt you and waste more of your money and time. I am a member on lowcarbfriends bamagirlb which does monthly callanetics challenges that are a really great motivator,and also have a lot of info about the exercise as well! Good luck!!! The weight you will lose (not much) will be mostly water and muscle tissue. This is bad because not only will you have to start eating again but since you now have less muscle, and therefore a slower metabolism as opposed to when you began fasting, you will gain even more fat on top of the fat that your body stored while you fasted. The only time your body will start burning fat when you are not eating and I mean noticeable amounts is when it can no longer burn muscle proteins as a fuel source --By the time that happens you're close to death. Lil devil blackmails me by sitting on my keyboard till I give in and feed him. 500 calories a day does not sound like a healthy diet. Pretty soon that cat food is going to start to look mighty tasty. Your body will start to go into starvation mode and store fat... I met a girl who was on it and she was hungry and cranky as hell. I don't know but sounds like another diet gimmick. Just cut back on simple carbs (like white bread, sugar, potatoes, fruit juices) and eat lots of veggies and lean protein. Exercise at least 30 min a day every day, do some strength training every other day/3x a week each time target a specific area of your body (abs, legs, chest/triceps/shoulders, back/biceps) Also very important, drink plenty of water (1/2 oz per lb of body weight daily is ideal) |

No problem the hormone causes your body to eat your stored fat, I look 10 x's better than on any diet or exercise program I have done before because it uses that fat stores that are impossible to get rid of even on skinny people. Go for it don't listen to naysayers that don't know jack shit about this diet oh and by the way keeping it off easily too just follow the protocol (2 months now) I am now going back for my last 14 lbs!!! good luck |

Quick fix usually means you pay dearly--you may get thinner, but who cares if you're also sick! Best way to shed unwanted pounds is to remove non-foods, do some form of exercise, make an effort to get more sleep, reduce stress, drink good water, and of course quit smoking, alcohol, and the obvious body-stressors. Try eliminating dairy, grains, anything refined, and certainly no fake sugars. Moderate fruit (fresh and raw) lots of vegs, some cooked is ok but forget the sauces, lots of salad (little or no dressing) a handful of nuts or seeds, a little meat (3-4 oz) if you feel you need it. (roasted, stewed, not broiled or fried) Even these simple steps will make a big difference. Not magic, just more nutrition, less junk. Try this, see how you feel and look. There are many books and websites to help. |

I guarantee you I eat cleaner and healthier than 90% of those blathering all the shit that you do NOT know about this diet. Some people have severely compromised immune function and endocrine dysfunction due to infectious diseases such as Lymes or other poisons from the environment . Thus you can throw your diet does and don'ts out the window. THEY DO NOT WORK! I have studies this for many years utilizing various types of diets. |
