Take:

11 grams of powdered sugar

20 grams of potassium nitrate ( its a food preservative )

1/2 cup of water




Mix together on low heat in a pot and stir for 45 minutes to one hour


When the mix has reduced to the consistency of "Play-Doh" remove from heat and allow to cool a little

You can test to see if its done by pinching off a small piece and pressing it flat with your thumb, then once its cooled to room temp it should be very brittle...if it stays soft keep stirring on a low heat )


Before the mix hardens , but has cooled to the point you can handle it, roll the candy into a "cigarette" shape.



Congratulations ...you now have candy cigarettes


Stick one in your mouth , and light it.......trust me , its cool what happens.
