I had a radical revelation awhile back that Stephen Hawking has been braindead for the last decade or so and TPTB have been playing this massive joke on the population- basically parading a vegetable out in front of the dumb-Masses, and the people eat up his words like they are scientific gospel-

Nobody stops to think how absurd is that we accept that Mr. Hawking is apparently able to communicate, and has written entire books, by way of a machine that reads the faintest flicking of his eyeball- and translates that to speech.

A far likelier explanation is Hawking is a vegetable and TPTB are writing all the content that "the world's Smartest man" has to say. What a great strategy to dominate the scientific community.
