We have fun now ok? Right, another sight that says Hopi prophecy says this and that, but no source. Who made these prophecies and when? The 9 signs from what I can tell where given by an Elder that died in the 70s...so he lived through all of the things he prophecied! That's not a prophecy its an observation. Either I'm missing a connection or people don't do any research. |

Your best source would be "The Book of the Hopi" by Frank Waters and White Bear Fredericks. Waters also wrote a book called "Pumpkin Seed Point" that tells about his stay on the reservation for three years while he interviewed over 30 elders at that time. The prophecies are passed down from generation to generation by the story teller Kachinas that come throughout the year. |

Crystal Links talks about the Hopi Prophecy rock and has an article by a Dr. Allen Ross talking about the nine signs and WWIII...is this a translation of some inscribing by ancient Hopi? Quoting: El D 747284Where does this come from? irrelevant and false prophecies same like nostradamus n bible prophecies.world has gone psycho.hopi indians haven't predicted anything, the western author who stayed on reservation just wanted to print something sensational. |

[link to www.newagefraud.org] Sorry to bust that bubble, No such Blue Star prophecy exists in reality. It is an actual Katsina that appears amongst the 4-500 or so Katsinam at Hopi, but has been endowed with an almost mythical element of prophetic visions by non-Hopis. These prophecies are widespread, and the only person who has admitted to believing them was a guy in Sedona, no surprise there then. I haven't been able to trace the first mention of this Katsina in prophetic circles, but some say it might have started with Frank Waters' "Book of the Hopi" -which is a problematic book in and of itself. |

User ID: 999295 06/11/2010 12:49 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Here's what Dan Evehama (Hopi) said back in 1993: Cold and hot spells are occurring in new patterns, so that vegetation is being affected. Corn is now being raised much farther north in Canada. The time may come when citrus fruit can be grown there. New insects, animals, and birds are appearing in different places as old habitats disappear. Supposedly, they are in search of their own cultural environment. If only one or two things were involved, there might be some explanation; but when every phase of life, sea, earth, and air is feeling the same changes, there must be something happening. From a book called "Hotevilla" Don't know if you considered this a prophecy or not, he was just stating the facts as he saw them before everyone knew that the poles were melting and global warming was a reality. |

Are you just trying to get your post count up by being arrogant and offensive? Why the world is such a shit hole is because people like some here go about and blur, distort, and banter on serious questions, concerns, and faiths. If you don't have anything constructive to say then what is the point? All of your problems are rooted there where you act aggressively or in a negative way. Open your eyes for once in your life and you might be able to truly understand what happiness is. Or just wallow in your misery while others progress to achieving their own potentials. Watch them rise above you as you become a pebble on the ground. Hopi prophecies have roots to the sumerians. I haven't really read up on it but that is where man originated and their stories are very similar. They speak of the great spirit sending man into the four directions, bestowing the gaurdianship of the elements to each tribe. The whites of the north were given fire. The blacks of the south were given water. The yellows of the east were given air. And the reds of the west were given earth. You can see pretty well in the history of these directions and cultures that this is pretty well true. It's pretty old but still good for opening the eyes to the hopi prophecies. Five part video. It's really hard to hear too. Enjoy! |
