before the baby boomer hippies (the first hippies) all the liberties rights and freedoms were on paper and in constitutions. discrimination was abound, governments oppressed people easily. hell, even people were sitting with suits in their dining rooms. such a shitty civilization it was.

hippies brought some emotion to social life. some freedom. it was thanks to them that we are able to wear tshirts and jeans to work, or wear 'casual' wear to work. casual wear wasnt even worn in many households back in 1950s. ridiculous times.
