North Memphis here again. I've managed to acquire the original farm home site in my urban neighborhood. It was the most valuable property in the area BEFORE there was a City of Memphis ;-)

I buy houses in the inner city of Kansas City Mo.

One of the biggest things holding our inner cities back is investors renting Section 8. Keeping the cities full of monkeys waiting for handouts. Forcing the working population out into the unsustainable suburbs. White people have just accepted this model as the norm, while the beautiful inner city neighborhoods, full of fantastic bungalows, awesome Victorians, wonderful parkland and the infrastructure to handle large volumes of working people, just disintegrate into urban decay.

You white n*gg@rs are gonna have to step up and quit waiting for someone to take care of this problem. Price out the monkeys who want handouts, and refuse Section 8.Let them go live in the fields and nature like true Africans if that's what they want. YOu don't want to participate? Go live outside. Ha ha, ever watched "Police Women of Memphis"? The women officers mostly get the domestic violence, drugs and other "light" crimes. Quite an eye opener. Wrong, we see very few Mexicans working in the older (blacker and/or liberal) neighborhoods of Memphis. The Mexicans work for the whiteys that ran away to the 'burbs and the contractors who moved out of the City to avoid paying their share of taxes.

I have a place in K.C. near UMKC. Great old neighborhood with beautiful old houses. Gentrification area for sure. On my block there are a bunch of long time residents (working class and retired black folks), one city owned "abandoned" house, and two places where college students have moved in (one of them being mine). There is one of those Section 8 houses across from my place. There are litters of children over there, a number of adults. The kids are like wild animals, and they are fully used as monetary devices.

That one house fucks up the whole neighborhood. I've been trying to get somewhere with the Housing Authority, but they won't even send someone to investigate. There has to be 10 people living in that fucking house. It's fucking disgusting, filthy, cockroach infested... A goddamn disgrace.

Instead of Shaniqua and all that other bullshit, they should just name these kids, EBT, Section 8, Welfariqua, Food Stamp, etc. etc.

You're funny. I'm white, own my own business and several properties in the City of Memphis, and engage more in civic and cultural life in Memphis than most. SOME of your observations regarding crime and poor life choices are valid, but your overall attitude is without compassion. While I enjoy some of the older parts of Germantown, it has little to offer culturally. Abandoning Memphis because you're too chicken shit to stand and defend it is not a mark of success, it's a display of cowardice.
