QC south just got s gently 3.5 EQ in the last hours.


this happenned on st-lawrence low land. near granby.

14km east of
st-jean sur le richelieu highly streased area by flow and soil satured with waters for 3 month now.


this is nothing good , sign are here the unusual waters level for this time of the years in lowland make the whole area unstable. the pressure on underground waters tap ans other under-network can TRIGGER in news weeks a major event just like the last outaouais river EQ near ottawa.


IF the event take place we could expect a wide spreading area with noticable vibration.



1. EQ over 5.0 in next weeks for the southern QC.


2. IF is not happen in southern area near ottawa-usa the
next high-sensible area is Charlevoix sismic zone.

The first EQ 13 km S from Laterriere,QC is the one scientist keep wathing right now. Because this location is well know.

The 1988 Saguenay earthquake was a 5.9 magnitude earthquake that struck Quebec, Canada on Friday, November 25, 1988. It is one of the largest recorded earthquakes in eastern Canada and eastern North America during the 20th century.
The earthquake was triggered by faults associated with the Saguenay Graben.
