In terms of quality of life, i think the Greeks had it about right, work 35 hours a week with bonus payments is very civilised if you ask me.

I dont think you can a German out of a Greek.

The German work ethic, get up at 6am in order to start work at 7am, work 48 hours a week solid.

The quality of life was much better for Greeks than most other European countries, now, Greeks will have to do what Germans do, work their ass off looking forward to that 2 week break so they could holiday somewhere nice!

I'm not a hard core conservative, I do agree with most tenets of socialism. However, when I see it in action in Europe it is bothersome. I mean most just expect the gov't to provide everything for them. Look at the UK or any other country. The have a large underclass that just keep having babies who have babies who expect gov't housing, food, jobs forever. Like it is a right. They have no motivation to get off gov't assistance.

Basically in Greece the job of the banker is equal to lazyness, unmanliness and shame because bankers don't really use their hands to work(manual labor), lift heavy crates filled up with fruits and pick up almost pears from the pear-field under intense sunlight and heat for 8 or more non-stop. They are considered softened unmanly jelly-boned wimps. That's our logic.
