I find myself increasingly bored with mainstream conversations and small talk. Once you wake up to what's really going on, there's no going back.

My search began 10 years ago and I am a very different person now. Luckily I have a few people I can discuss GLP things with. My mom is on the same page as me and my boyfriend is interested in a lot of "conspiracies" too. We frequently discuss topics on GLP and he even asks me about "so what's new on GLP?". ha ha

Most of my old friends have nothing in common with me anymore. They are all obsessed with sports and the women all want to get married and start families. It's not something I can relate to at all. Completely different wave lengths. They will wake up eventually if they are meant to. No need to force it on them.

I try to educate my friends ... GENTLY!!! ... but some just don't want to listen. One was literally laughing at me when I mentioned Nassim haramein's research (she didn't know who he was), and my courteous reply began with the words, "He's a physicist who ..." ... and at 'physicist' ... she rolled her eyes and started giggling again.

As if I was wasting my time watching "physics" videos.

With some, it's hopeless. You gotta let 'em go.

I have friends and family who don't get it, but I have other ways of connecting with them, so I connect with them in those ways and don't even bother with the rest. I have learned after decades of living that this is how you have to be if you want to keep connected with people. It's annoying, but most people are not tolerant, even (especially?) the ones who preach tolerance. How many people are acceptant of atheists/agnostics in the United States? Why are European leaders trying to prevent Islamic women from wearing burqas? Why do some consider you anti-Semitic if you criticize the policies of Israel? I could go on and on and on. .... I just try to find the "connection" I have with someone, if it is someone I value, and not go near the rest ....

French was my mothertongue but I learned ENGLISH by myself,then japanese and so on...Now,I speak/understand and read more than 11 languages!!!

I became a researcher in ufology fields...And Tesla ,Keely TT Brown...had no more secrets for my knowledge(and so on).

I discovered GLP in a mail I received frm Above --Top+S and I knew this was the best INFO place.

When I check the list of all the people in my mobilephone:

At my age I've had enough of "friends" that require you to not make them think and just stroke their ego. About 5 years ago I told them what was coming and they laughed a good minute at me. I decided to withdraw from them as light and fluffy ain't my style. Saw one of them the other day and they're now hurting, "you laughing now?" I asked......not a peep out of them.

I think we get resented because the information we impart takes peoples feel good away and because of that we become anathema to them. Also, peoples pride will not acknowledge someone who knows more than themselves. As grandma would say, "nobody likes smart people", and she was right.

By the way multilingual skills do not correlate much with being dumb or smart... :)

welcome to the club, there is nothing wrong with that and you shouldn't hate to say that. Many people outgrow their peers, its up to you to find a community you can grow with, and if your current one does not help you grow, then the best thing you can do for yourself is move on. doesn't mean you should cut your friends out of your life, but never settle for less than what you want.

That is a nice thought Trinity, but in all honesty.

I haven't met your wife, of course, but if she has anything in common with most women, she'll listen to a practical suggestion. I repeat: practical. It's not enough to say, 'this place is no good because of this, that and so on.' Suggest a better place, a more likely safe one, to build a home and add to it. Show her a plan for paying the bills there also; a woman who puts meals on the table knows they don't get there by magic.

Few indeed are going to go along with the idea of refusing to put down roots anywhere at all because of what 'might' happen. It's not as if you can carry all your emergency food storage and ammo on your backs. Think out your survival plan just as if she already agreed with you, mindful of the practical details and then and only then, present it to her. What's more important to you: your survival as a family or whether or not she agrees with everything you say?
