I don't know why these guys always make a huge one, why not just make small ones and sell them as toys to prove they work, and after that people can build bigger ones if they want.

After having a toy on your desk for 3 months generating enough power to light a smal light 24/7, wouldn't you then scale it up?

And the guy selling the toys could release the plans while still making a fortune selling the toys. No one wants to build a small toy, just buy it already built, it's easier and cheaper.

You could also sell parts for a kit that people could build a bigger one.

The big corporations won't bother stopping you because the plans are all over the net, the word is already out.
