Last count at 9:16 am 36 Earthquakes this morning near volcano!

Thanks for link,you know i was thinking when looking at the infrared cam it looks very hot below,and there may be a chance the Eyjaffjalljokull volcano may collapse in on its self and that would spell world DOOM i hope i am wrong but this dont look good now,all the under side is heating up.

Good to see someone other than myself noticed that as well. I wish we had some shots of the volcano from around May 1st to compare with now. Really looks like the one side of the mountain is actually sinking or dipping more....but it could just be my old eyes playing tricks on me.

that thermo image was only red around the "hole" last night! WOW WHY IS THE WHOLE MOUNTIAN RED NOW!!!!

I have been watching the crevice as well and it is much wider than it was at 10:00 last night. Also, last night the thermal cam was just light blue at the bottom of volcano.

OK, so I saw people walking on the thermal cam for a second and now the volcano looks different than 5 min. ago. What is going on there?

I think I was just seeing shadow on the volcano from the clouds causing it to look different. But I did see the people.

So can anyone tell if its an infrared lens or a thermal lens?

I wonder if the thermal cam is showing a rise of lava in the volcano to the top or is the thing just that hot?

I told someone else that they added an infrared camera. But it's likely more correct that it's a thermal camera.

There has been a HUGE swarm of earthquakes around the volcano in the past 2 hours. Maybe a new vent opening? New intensity for sure!

Just checked for an updated total of 63 quakes in last 48 hours in the region! Only 11 of them occured Sat/Sunday. That's 52 quakes so far today. Holy cow batman.
