Take a good look at my avatar. That's my car. I love driving and I am a true gear head. Gasoline ranks up there with the smell of fresh cut grass for me. This is a disaster that should never ever have happened. If we allowed oil companies to drill on known oil fields on land, the scale of this kind of ecological disaster would never have happened. If refineries were allowed to be built to refine more of the oil we already pump out of safe wells we already have, this disaster would never have happened.

If CLEAN nuclear energy was allowed to be developed and used here the way it is in other parts of the globe, millions of eco nuts could be driving their plug in collision death traps in the 100's of thousands by now. But nooooo. We've got to strangle the energy producing life out of the the whole country for tree huggging wack jobs that strain a knat but swallow a camel.

Reasonable, safe energy folks. That's all we need. Pushing oil companies deeper and further away paved the way for this disaster. Now we all have to pay. Gear heads and tree huggers alike are all going to have to go without seafood from the gulf. Liberal nut jobs and right wing extreemists alike will have to for go vacation plans because oil on the beach is just wrong for everybody.

Our demand that oil companies produce ever more supply out of ever less accessible area is what got us here. Welcome to the doom of our own making. We did this to ourselves.

I heard this video before and consider it to be disinformation.

The narrator states that GROUND ZERO is 84 miles from shore.

I have read numerous times that the oilrig Deepwater Horizon was located 40 miles offshore.

Also, I seriously question whether there are any boats allowed anywhere near "ground zero" as has previously been discussed.

First, there are gas fumes coming off of the water which could either jeapordize the breathing of those in boats, or which could easily ignite.

Second, I believe that the areas with the heaviest oil slicks would seriously foul the motor of many boats even if they could withstand the fumes and didn't blow the entire fricken gulf up and start an uncontrollable fire.

I don't know when this video was shot. I don't know where this video was shot. I don't believe the narrator.

It will affect EVERYONE in the States at the very least. 1/3 of the Seafood supply to the nation comes from the Gulf.

A hurricane could blow the oil into freshwater streams, rivers and lakes all over the coast. Mississippi included.

i consider the earth itself..as it truly is...not as humans envision that it 'should be'.
