And the crashed plane marked 'EC VJL', any clue?

Here's what I noticed, as an adept of the mysteries myself. Take of it what you will.


When they are in the classroom at the beginning of the movie, one of the first things you notice is the blackboard with the words on it. If you look on the right hand side of the board, you will see a square and a compass right next to it. I'm sure you get the significance of this.

The words on the blackboard: If you look at the second word, which is hack, read in order, this word and the words under it. You get, hack, guy, body, axe, and stitch. Strange terms for an elementary class. No apparent occult meaning though.

Then, the girl who wrote the "prophecy" of numbers was named Luciana (or was it Lucilia, or Lucinda?). LVX, or LUX is the Greek word for light, also a very significant term in the Occult societies. Note, Lucifer means light-bearer; light-bearer represents the giver of knowledge, or bringer of information. What was the girls key role here?

Time capsule is buried in the center of the Octogram, or eight pointed star. This represents death, rebirth, and regeneration. ( the musical scale ends at 7, starts over at 8. Same thing with the colors)
You could also consider it attributed to the Sephirah Hod; representing interference and restriction of energies, which Thoth, the God of wisdom, learning, and the carrier of messages is attributed as well.
Lucinda is also holding an orange balloon at this same moment; the color of this sphere of the tree of life.

50 years later, when they pull the time capsule back from the ground, the kids at the ceremony are singing "this little light of mine, I'm going to let it shine"....Still on this theme.

The spelling words mentioned are interesting; when Cage erases the board, he leaves the term "deal between piece chief". Could mean nothing, but then again, nothing is insignificant or unintentional with these people.

Now lets look at the tragedies that were the main focus. The first happened in the Gulf of Mexico with the oil rig explosion. The second, the airplane. The third, the subway tunnel underground. The last, the CME that fried earth.
Water, Air, Earth, Fire.

At the end of film, the children each take a rabbit to the new planet, rabbits being a symbol for fertility and reproduction. They are also icons of the Goddess ISHTAR, hence the associations with bunnies and EASTER; Easter being a date for rebirth, regeneration and new beginnings.

These are just a few I noticed immediately, maybe later I will go through the film and jot down everything else.

I've considered it, but nothing that stands out. If it means anything, it's encoded in some way. Chances are, if it does have meaning, it's probably initials of something that has meaning to one someone who worked on the film. I'm sure film-makers put their initials and the initials of their secret lovers in their movies frequently, lol.

Over the past 3 weeks we've had the oil spill and a significant plane crash. Now do we head for the bunkers for the CME portion...just like some on here (like that guy from the Boeing/NASA thread) said and do it by June/July...for this half man/half natural disaster?!?!?
