My Neighbors: Fight all the time

Damaged people draw damaged people to themselves. It is a love/hate or even hate/hate relationship. They are both getting something out of it and that is why they won't leave each other. When one is really through with the lesson then they will leave or become better in the relationship. Don't ever get involved with anyone's problems. They have them for a reason.

Well i don't think i should adjust my lifestyle or even move because of them.

I work mostly from home and i don't wanna pay for an external office.

So i must hear their bullshit so often and wonder why they don't just break up.

Better than living below someone who never leaves his place and listens to your every move. It's bizarre. I was home for a few days after I first moved into the condo, and I was moving stuff around and sweating a lot, so every couple hours I'd run the faucet to get a drink of water or clean something. After maybe the 10th time, I heard my upstairs neighbor scream "I'M BORED, I THINK I'LL GET A GLASS OF WATER!!". Also, about a week later, I was up until 1AM, on the computer and studying, and the next day I overheard him talking to another neighbor telling them that I never sleep and that I don't have a job. Since then, the other neighbor in the complex has started walking her dog past my window everyday and looking in. The neighbor above me never leaves, his car is always in the parking lot, yet he talks shit about me to the other neighbors, and tells them that I don't have a job (which I do). I immediately put it up for sale after that. It was way too weird. I'm taking a $28k loss on the sale of condo, but I don't care at this point.

And maybe they don't have enough money to break up. That is very true in this economy. But the real fact is they are getting something from this fighting. Many people are mentally and emotionally damaged and get into relationships with the same types of people. Don't try to understand it because it really isn't worth it and is a waste of time.

Since you have an apartment make plans to move when your lease is up and hopefully you will get better neighbors.

What a violation of individual sovereignty and alarming lack of privacy is this!?

I have the same occurrence! After I was forced to return an apartment complex, I made it absolutely clear to management that I am a private researcher and will not have my privacy violated by anyone. I concern myself with my own affairs and expect those around me to do the same.

When I arrive home, I do not run up the stairs or slam my door, I close the door gently. It is curious to observe my next door neighbors do the same. Confirming they were observing my behavioral patterns.

The only dispute I have is with the those below me - they spy and engage in covert/stealth like information gathering. Eavesdropping, synchronizing the times of departure and return, etc.

Being that I have Asperger's syndrome and high functioning intellect, these subtleties I recognize immediately. It is sickening, I may involve the police if it escalates. Another consequence of living in a city.
