MILLIONS SOON TO BE HOMELESS!!! NOTHING BEING DONE TO STOP IT!!! NOTHING!!!

99% of these kinds of stories are made up by someone who just wants to be entertained by the TEEVEEEE....

go ahead, go outside, find all these homeless people....they dont exist.

My mom has been on unemployment for over a year. She has not even attempted to get a job.

Now this week her unemployment is ending..and she is out hitting the pavement. Funny how that works out.

I think one hurdle she (and many others) had, was that she would rather sit on unemployment until a job that had the qualities "she wanted" came along--rather than just getting any job that would pay the bills.

I hate to say it...but Americans are a bunch of entitled assholes. If an Electrician gets laid off...he'll just sit on unemployment until another electrician job comes along. Why? becuase he wants that FAT electrician pay-check. Same goes for carpentry and many of the other trades.

Problem is...those jobs are gone!!! They Aint coming back. So all those fellahs are going to have bite the bullet and work in the convenience store just like everyone else.

Its tough but when your hungry and your kids are hungry you'll do what needs to be done.


Here's something you all forget, one can be overqualified. I know this, I made good money and then lost my job, I applied quickly for other jobs, I took my resume in personally to a grocery store that was hiring. The hiring manager told me that she couldn't pay me what my last salary was (since it was on the application), she only paid minimum wage. I told her that's okay because I need a job. She said if she hired me I would leave as soon as something better came along and it wouldn't do them any good to train me.
I eventually applied for unemployment, but just so you know--that is the response that one gets. I know from experience.

2 things that would go a long way towards solving America's unemployment problem:

close the damn borders!

get out of NAFTA!---this one thing alone is responsible for making it profitable taxwise for corporations to send all those jobs to other countries. Why is there no great outcry for Congress to get us out of this horrible treaty that is destroying our country? This ought to be a major Tea Party platform!

I have changed my resume so many times it is a complete joke effort. I went and got a degree. I keep up with current technology and events. It has nothing to do with these. I will keep trying, but it is who you know, AND what race, what age, what sex you are. Resume is useless.

22%+ unemployment, with some people looking for months for non-existent jobs, as more and more companies and small businesses lay off thousands every day, some people even committing suicide over their feeling of hopelessness, and you say:

"get off your lazy bitch ass and go apply."

That's right. If you'd rather kill yourself than get a job, then fuck you.

The fucking wetbacks around here won't work for under $10 an hour and they're busting ass trying to get here.

I`ve been laid off several times...#1---you`ve got to believe in yourself...you can find a way...You may have to look way below what your used to BUT LOOK...It`s not a secret when your unemployment is going to run out. I always knew the exact week and ya sure as hell can`t expect the Gov to carry ya forever...and I don`t mean that in a bad way...don`t take the easy way out and think unemployment is going to last forever..get bullheaded and find a job..and never get the poor little ol me syndrome...make it happen

Im sorry, but living like that is disgusting. There is a reason people dont want homeless people hanging around.

They carry diseases and are desperate people. Most of them have mental problems or are really lazy and stupid....those kinds of issues.
