Why not give those kids a good education about the world around them, let them know there's an amazing universe outside those dusty old hate-filled books.

Everyone has a freedom of conscience to believe however the wish or not to believe as long as they are not violent. The Vatican has a violent history, not all religion does.

Saying no freedom of conscience is itself violent as witnessed in communist countries, which were themselves hatched by the Vatican's military knights and the Jesuits.
