Call me cynical.. but I have no confidence in the 'Audit the Fed' situation turning out monumentally beneficial for us... if it'd happened 20 yrs ago.. maybe..

But if it turns-up & reveals to the Public any actual Truth... know that it'll only be revealed to further destabilize the Financial System, & accelerate the collapse Globally... one currency is the Goal.

1. Halt offshore drilling & cripple the US Economy through various ways throughout the aftermath...

2. BLOW UP the price of Gas in the US.. even though we've got all-time record surpluses, & vast unused ready resources..

My husband's been saying the same thing. Just look at the stock market charts - 1929 might have been the dramatic plunge but the real losses came after the rally that followed in 1930.

I lost nothing in 08 either but missed the entire rally apart from playing a few cheap stocks short term.

What's really stupid? If the credit crisis had been handled properly in 2007 we'd be well on our way to real global recovery by now. But then the 'net worth' of a lot of the super-rich would have taken a hit and the middle class would still have a future.
