Sandi_T User ID: 873093 United States 05/12/2010 08:51 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The tendency of seagulls to swarm if food is dropped came in handy for me once. I was laying on the beach, minding my own business, munching on a bag of popcorn. Cheddar, as I recall. Anyway, this nasty man put his lawn chair down next to me and started blatantly hitting on me. I told him I wasn't interested. He didn't stop. In fact, he got worse. So I packed up my stuff and moved away from him. The guy FOLLOWED ME over to my new spot and got all belligerent and started calling me names I wouldn't even call someone who WAS those things. So, I got up and dumped my popcorn on his head. The sea gulls swarmed him instantly. And they're NOT scared of people in a case of a nice big banquet like that... They had cleaned up the beach within moments, and chased Mr. Dumbnuts off to clench the deal. God bless the seagulls. No more requests in the "Strangest things" thread please. :hf: Past Lives requests thread: Thread: That Which Once Was: Past Lives |

The rat would go take food out of the cats dish when it was hungry, if it was cold at night it would break out and climb our stairs and go cuddle up against my sister at night. In the morning it would make its way back down the stairs and back into the cage. It was a potty trained rat aswell, she would only go in her cage or in the cat box. Very interesting little animal it was. |

Hipflask User ID: 966181 United Kingdom 05/12/2010 01:22 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Lol, our next door neigbour used to feed the seagulls. There was one that was always walking around next door. When we moved in my cat used to stalk it for hours untill one day he pounced on the gull. All hell broke loose, the gull went mental squarking and bleeting as my cat had it on the ground. Next thing you know all the other gulls came in and there musta been about 12 gulls attacking my cat!! it was scary funny. My cat was ok, however he longer hassles the gulls LOL. |

They have killed pigeons, bats, hummingbirds, all sorts of things. All that would have been left is a pile of feathers and blood all over the place. I know, gross. Quoting: Not in my home 967994Yeah right and they would have needed canes after the seagull had eyes for desert. |
