BP and US authorities (Army) are going to blow up the seabed in the Gulf with a TWO-TON charge of TNT contained in the 125 ton steel structure.

That's why the first attempt was done with hast.

It was never meant to capture the oil and send it to shore.

Its there sitting next to well for a purpose.

Ice didn't build inside the structure, ice doesn't form at the bottom of any seabed.

Because this will house the TWO-TON charge blast they are going to place at the bottom of the sea floor.

No operation goes from 125 tons to less then two.

The only problem with the theory is that that larger containment dome doesn't really have the right shape...at least on the exterior for containing or directing a blast.

That will be happening anyway....this top hat thing does nothing to stop the leak....it just sucks up the results...so the golf shot will be coming....and it's risky...
