I remember when TV was only black and white. I remember when there was a movie theater in every neighborhood. I remember when we went to school in the afternoon, and the other children in the morning, because of the baby boom (too many kids at school). And so on... |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 969966When I was a kid, I thought if I stared into a hole in the ground long enough, a Chinaman would pop out. Or at least a Russian. Of course, that would have been a national incident but what does a kid know at five? What has been, is. What will be- has already been. Kings rise, and kings are deposed. Their domains crumble, and other dominions take their place. What is the verdict? There is no new thing under the sun. Ecclesiastes. MustangSally User ID: 641220 United States 05/14/2010 06:12 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I remember when "The Shinning" first hit cable. I was forbidden to watch it. That walk down the dark hallway, after sneaking out of bed to watch it late one night was one of the longest most terrifying nights I have ever had. hehe. I did the same thing with "Porky's" and "Animal House". I remember when kids played outside all day and were told that they better be home and in the house by dinner or else. OLD?!? Bah....I'm 41 and I still play outside all day. The way I look at it I got a whole other lifetime yet to live. Then I will be old. Women that behave rarely make history. Unfortunately you can't regulate stupid. If scarcasim is lost on you, then you won't be able to follow my train of thought with a road map and compass. :tejas: |
