I figure the whole reason for the Peak-Oil-scam is to counter the decline in Oil-prices. But as always, things never go as fast as i think/hope, just like i expected that the Gold-price would have hit the $2000 by now, but that too is going sooo slowly. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 964494 United States 05/14/2010 01:48 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | May 14 (Bloomberg) -- Billionaire Mukesh Ambani, who runs the world’s largest refining complex, said the petroleum industry must be ready for oil prices to rebound to $100 a barrel or more on growing consumption in Asia. “We have to again be actively prepared to see a three- digit oil price” Guess this speaks to how he got to be a billionaire..... "actively" pursuing conflict of interest. |

Quoting: Sul-americano 643866My bicicle does't need any drop of oil!!!!! what do you oil the chain, bearings with? Oil is used in the process to make the tires, vinyl seat cover , handgrips, tubes, valve stems, the water bottles you drink from. So you are more or less saying let oil prices go to $400 a barrel and then you will bitch when that bottle of water that used to cost $1.39 now costs $8.39 due to the increase in costs for materials it is made from. Petroleum is used in so many manufactured items it would raise the price of consumer goods out of reach.
