As an old technical trader it was a given that it was going to go back down and retest those lows that were hit last Thursday. The ONLY question was one of timing ... not "if".

Since the bounce back up off of those lows was of such bad quality my anticipation was/is that instead of taking a month to 6 weeks to retest those lows it would probably happen within about 2 to 3 weeks (about half the normal time).

Today is Friday ... and that is the most important close of the week. (the day traders and weekly traders tend to want to be flat over weekends) It is not a given that there will be any sort of major sell off today, but the markets are nervous as shit at the moment so anything is now possible. ( I would define a "major sell off" as a 2% or more change)

no i personally am on a whole different level- in which the dow is irrelevant and doesnt even exist in my realm.. however- i believe if it tanks 2,000 or more- it Could have slim effects on my realm- so therefore i will acknowledge its existence when it does that... the whole 1000 down in a couple seconds.. i could care less- because right after that it was normal again.. but like i said- 2k COULD effect my realm- Could... till then- its completely irrelevant and non-existent ... LOL @ the DOW...
