Yea..I would want to be the ally of a country that saved their ass from invasion 2 times in the last 100 years like America did. That little statue they gave us along with a few indians and rifles was one of the best investments ever made by France in their history. Too bad they failed miserably when they tried to help the South in the civil war...we wouldnt have all this Federal control of anything since the South was more about state rights and adhering to the principles of the constitution which they wrote into their founding documents.

True, the War Between the States was about the North running rough shod over the South. We've had enough thank-you, time to leave. We can in on our own, we can leave on our own, and they did. The C.S.A. was a country for six months before Lincoln provoked the Fort Summter incident. The North started the war not the South.

Question is, if Russia invades Turkey from behind ....will Greece help......but seriously there is bound to be some re shuffling of alliances when whole economies are at stake, it may well test how United Europe really is
