You people who agree with the "pissing in the swimming pool" are very stupid

When you piss, it only last 10 second at best

This oil has been gushing since months! It doesn't stop, and look at the size that grow over the past month, it getting bigger and bigger and it won't stop

Put your fucking ego aside and look how SERIOUS THIS IS, THEY CANNOT FIX IT!

Don't forget methane gas are releasing too

You fucktards don't understand how serious this is and your ego get the best of you

Tiny to big wasn't very good

virus are tiny
tiny nuclear bomb can kill million
tick are tiny bug that can cause luekumia
aids/hiv are tiny

Gushing oils are NOT TINY!

BP are using this word to escape the reality of damage they cause because of their's power of greed have blind them

This oil spill gushing will not stop, it cannot be fix that easily, it the hardest to fix

Please, how do you feel about someone put a virus in the water tank in new york that run million of water filters in each people's home, can you called that "tiny"?

Get your fucking ego and throw it out, your human pride has disgusted Mother Nature

Wait until the hurricane coming and you will understand how serious this shit can be, it CAN SPREAD!

wow

unreal..

Its the same thing I told you, and it's a correct description of the situation. Pollutants are measured by concentrations in parts per million, what he's saying is, that dispersed evenly in the gulf waters the spill would be virtually undetectable, and hes right again. But leaks nomatter what their source alwys start out in a specific location and gradually spread out. The amount of water in the gulf of mexico is trillions of times as big as the volume of the spill, and millions of times the volume of the deposit.

Say you're a newborn dolphin with a tarball stuck over your head and blowhole, WTF does pee have to do with anything and how does the dilution ratio over the entire Gulf help in any way whatsoever???

Some of you are just plain stupid! At least the BP idiot has a reason for lying but what's your excuse?

he should know this, a small accident in space is a huge problem on planet earth (asteroids going off course hitting earth). Now if the size of the asteroid spans the size of the oil spill. Is he going to say oh that asteroid is just a small piece of rock compare to the huge size of the earth, the earth will be ok? hiding

Dilution and Dispersal

If it were urine in water, it would dilute, becoming that trace element represented by the math models here.

Oil doesn't dilute in water - so it's toxicity is concentrated at extremely high amounts, and the overall water volume doesn't help - it hinders - as it is a vehicle for the highly concentrated toxic ribbons of oil suspended within it.

All dispersal does is break the oil up into little bloblets - again, still highly concentrated and toxic individually - and allows them to travel free of the ribbon-like behavior oil has naturally.

So, proponents of doom, you get to keep all the toxic benefits - and those who would downplay, all you can really say is - the toxins have a huge playground to roam within, lets hope we get lucky eh?

But the spill is not evenly dispersed over the entire Gulf and the location of the spill has everything to do with it's impact.

Certainly far, far more than the average concentration level.

It only takes a few tar balls to ruin and entire oyster bed for a decade or more.

So since this is THE top guy at BP and he thinks it's no big deal, perhaps we should be allowed to unleash the equivalent spill just off the coast of Britain's best beaches and see how tiny it is then!

Or how about a few tarballs over his fugly face? Or up his pasty white ass? They'd be tiny compared to the total global atmosphere.

I'd like to see him try to breathe through this oil+his toxic dispersant the way the newborn dolphins will have to do.

And Obama signed the waiver allowing them to bypass the permits. Payback for giving him more in campaign contributions than any other politician no doubt.

This level of corruption has to be criminal. Yet Obama was on TV saying he wasn't impressed with all the finger-pointing and blaming others.

OK, I blame HIM then because it is his first and foremost job to protect and preserve the country.
One of the most important aspects of conspiracy theories is being able to discern when there isn't one.

Seriously, he should be taken by helicopter about a mile off shore and dropped into the oil slick with a life vest and 20 pound weighted vest pad locked to his torso.
Same helicopter could provide a live camera of the whole hilarity to be streamed online.
