Why the WTH? in your thread title? The war has been over for over half a century...they want their country back and the foreign occupiers out. Most of them probably weren't even alive when Pearl Harbor was bombed, do they NEVER get forgiven because their ancestors did something awful? So did ours, we NUKED human beings. Will WE be forgiven if we won't forgive?


American troops are not an occupying force in Japan. They're a symbol of cooperation. Why do you think the JSDF Navy operates American DDGs? Many of the people of Ginowan want Futenma shut down. So what? Many of the people of Virginia Beach want Oceana shut down.
