Hmmm, if the Germans pulled all the undeclared money out of Luxembourg you would end up on the fields again harvesting your carrots and what not!
You missed that I have converted my €uro tra$h into CHFs. Before it goes completely south.

LOL @ the Lux Jibe that's told you Luxy Boy!
Darling, I'm a woman.

"Here's what we can do to change the world, right now, to a better ride. Take all that money we spend on weapons and defenses each year and instead spend it feeding and clothing and educating the poor of the world, which it would pay for many times over, not one human being excluded, and we could explore space, together, both inner and outer, forever, in peace." What might happen is that they revalue gold upward in dollars near the $10,000/ounce level. If they did that, then the countries with gold in their reserves would be able to say they were not insolvent?

I won't argue with any of the above...except one thing...On the whole, America still has the greatest collection of individuals ever assembled. Period.
 Quoting: Dash Riprock

I agree. There are some great spunky people - in the pockets when you know where to find them - or should that read - 'attract' them? rolleyes

But still, there is no place in the world that I'd rather start the rebuilding process than right where I'm at, because I know what the "little guys" of this nation are made of.
 Quoting: Dash Riprock

Yes & no... that's very weakness of the American average Joe... They turn funny when in a group... The tax protests in Washington last year are such an example.... It's colour-specific, you see?

You stay in Europe. Good fucking luck to you. You will need it.
 Quoting: Dash Riprock

No I won't. It's going down. But I have never been part of the 'crumbling walls' of empires....smoke n' burning ashes...

Other than that we all need all the luck each of us is able to handle.

At Par, 1 euro = 1 USD, they will Peg. After they peg they will become 1's and 0's.

Your gold will be outlawed and

all transactions will be taxed.

I like your thinking, Dollar->Euro->Sterling parity. No need to have a referendum on a NWO currency, you have one in part by default.

 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 973437

Ah you see, I'm a very practical minded lass.... If you can't beat the system it doesn't mean you have to become corrupt - nor, however, does it mean that one should 'sacrifice' oneself willfully-/ingly & hand yourself over without resistence ("Take me! I'm yours!" kinda thing, ya know? Being a woman n' all...).

Now that would really be fooli$h, wouldn't it? I'm not rich but I'm nobody's easy roll in the hay - fake paper money not gold backed... No, no, no...

That's being contemptful with your resources (my brains not my bank a/c!).

That much maligned tunnel will become profitable in the end. I've just watched the Icelandic Volcano programme on the History Channel, I'm buying sea and rail stock tomorrow and thankfully I was never in airlines. Never seen such statistically backed, matter of fact doom momgering in my life.

We are doomed, well not really but we will all have to get used to doing things the old way, hard way (romantic way!) call it what you like. My annual golf tour now becomes, Ferry from Portsmouth to Bilbao, drive through Basque country to Madrid, onto Seville and then Faro is a mere 3hrs drive further with the foot to the floor. A bit different from a 2.20hr flight though, the brave new (non-flying) world.

Uh, do you mean to tell me I should prostitute myself? Certainly that's what I am hearing in between the lines from your reply.

I'm not a whore. I never have been & I do not intend to start now.

I am a survivor. I am a product of the Korean war that was fought as a result of WWII. I'm not even European. I will never betray my principles of ethics & morale. But my survival is more important than my money amount. I don't need much & I don't have much but I want to keep what is still left. And that isn't much.
