Personal UFO - Or Williams Aerial Systems Platform (WASP)
So, I was just looking around youtube for some personal flying machines... And I came upon this footage...

It appears to be a personal flying platform, developed in the Friggin' 50's by the US Military. Called the WASP. I have watched so many shows on "flying cars" and "the future of flight", etc. and remember hearing them say "Jetpacks are coming soon!" and everybody being disappointed... Yet...

I can't believe I've NEVER seen or heard of this thing before. Now there is really no doubt in my mind that the US military and government have technologies far beyond what we know about... If this thing was around in the 50's, Imagine what they have NOW?

In a way, it's very aggravating, because there is probably a lot of potential for things like this, but more efficient and with a cleaner source of energy, yet they are being suppressed, and we are still burning fossil fuels and destroying the earth... Current oil spill as proof...

Why??? Has anyone seen this before? I search the threads but didn't find anything... This is enough to make one believe that UFO's are man-made, and have been around for years as well...

Anybody who knows anything more about this or other related technologies please discuss... This is very interesting to me.

Thanks :)

Ahh, Well upon further research I've learned that is is pretty well known... Still, I've never heard of it...

Here's a page with more info:

Apparently they canned the project because it wasn't practical and too expensive... Still seems iffy to me though... It seems with today's technology, it could be built more efficiently...

Or at least used in a limited way... Such as for emergencies... Like to rescue people from burning buildings or some other task involving maneuverability in the air.

That's very impressive for 60 years old tech.

Can you imagine all kinds of cool stuff they have today?
